JOB SUMMARY

Job Profile Summary

Manages and directs transportation scheduling for ONEOK Natural Gas segments with an emphasis on customer service, regulatory compliance, reliability and resource optimization.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Drive a strong customer service philosophy through scheduling functions. Ensuring that both internal and external customers receive superior customer service through scheduling interactions

  • Ensure that scheduling groups comply with all regulatory requirements. Coordinate closely with regulatory to ensure schedulers are adequately trained

  • Drive business process improvements that help Commercial, Operations and Scheduling function work more effectively together

  • Collaborate with Commercial and Operations on the best scheduling practices to ensure that ONEOK’s systems provide reliable service and function optimally

  • Determine the optimal work schedule and staffing levels for schedulers considering regulatory requirements, work/life balance, and the 24/7 requirements of the systems

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, information technology, other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience

Work Experience

  • Experience with project management, accounting activities, scheduling, contract administration, or pipeline operations

  • Experience managing through change and/or leading special projects

  • Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including accessing computers and utilizing spreadsheet and word processing software

  • Experience with and training relative to:

  • Financial analysis

  • Customer service

  • Government regulations

  • Experience interacting, negotiating, and communicating effectively

  • Experience leading, directing, supervising, and training

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of: natural gas industry

  • Ability to: optimize processes

  • Ability to: apply basic math, algebra, and statistical formulas

  • Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information or instructions
