Support ONEOK’s commitment to sustainability by collaborating with teams across the organization to gather data, craft messaging and communicate the company’s sustainability efforts as part of our ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting strategy.

Job Profile Summary

This role will support the company's long-standing commitment to sustainability through the reporting of Environmental, Social and Governance ESG-related performance, programs and disclosures relevant to stakeholders. It will support through research, development and reporting of ESG disclosures, including playing a central role in the company's corporate sustainability reporting process.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Play a central role in the development and publication of the company's annual Corporate Sustainability Report, including but not limited to:

  • Data gathering and analysis.

  • Content writing and development.

  • Provide primary editorial support for the annual Corporate Sustainability Report and related ESG reporting and communications materials.

  • Working knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and standards (SASB, TCFD, GRI, the UN SDGs, etc.), and assist in aligning ESG-related disclosures with relevant standards and stakeholder expectations.

  • Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders to implement a centralized ESG data and content management tool/system that supports the documentation and review ESG disclosures.

  • Conduct research and peer benchmarking to support ESG reporting and disclosure efforts.

  • Coordinate disclosures and messaging across company departments to promote consistency and accuracy.

  • Develop related presentations, fact sheets, talking points and other communications materials as required.

  • Assist in the development and publication of other strategic communications such as press releases, social media postings and website updates.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key third-party vendors and providers.

  • Assist in the development and presentation of ESG-related topics and information to internal and external audiences.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, business, communications or related field

Work Experience

  • 3 - 5 years related work experience of related ESG business experience, including but not limited to:

  • Sustainability and corporate responsibility reporting.

  • Use and understanding of key ESG disclosure frameworks.

  • Knowledge of key ESG metrics and trends.

  • Strong technical writing experience and strategic message development with a background in writing sustainability reports and ESG content for websites and other communications.

  • Strategic orientation and business acumen with problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate future ESG reporting expectations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of: Microsoft applications, as well as an ability to work with in-house data applications.

  • Knowledge of: key ESG reporting standards and frameworks.

  • Skills in: strategic orientation and business acumen with problem-solving.
